Why a rental deposit matters to you
A security deposit is money held as protection against damage. When it is large, the practical effect is simple: a part of your travel budget is unavailable exactly when you are on holiday and want to use it.
Come2Cyprus works the other way round. The standard rental is designed so that eligible drivers hand over nothing as a deposit, and nobody has to leave a card in the system as security. You pay for the rental, you take the keys, and your money stays in your account.
What zero deposit means here
Zero deposit, no deposit, 0 deposit and deposit-free all describe the same thing: there is no security amount to hand over or leave blocked for the duration of your rental.
It is a rental condition, not a discount and not an insurance product. Your rental price is unchanged by it — the deposit simply is not part of how we work.
Zero deposit is not the same as Zero Excess
These two are often confused. Zero deposit is about security money: there is none for eligible drivers. Zero Excess is the one optional paid product we offer — it reduces the insurance excess (your maximum share of a damage claim) to zero for a small daily amount.
Comprehensive insurance is already included in the rental price either way. Zero Excess is never added silently: it only appears in your total if you choose it.
A deposit still never means a card hold
Younger accepted drivers can have a security deposit — the table above shows exactly when. Even then, nothing changes about cards: no credit card, no debit card and no bank card is required, and no amount is pre-authorised or blocked on any card.

One clean price, with the benefits inside
There is one standard rental price per category and rental period. The normal benefits many companies charge for separately are already in it, so there is no compulsory add-on stack to work through before you know your cost.
Season and duration rates are visible rules, not hidden fees: low and peak season, a 3–5 day rate, a lower 6+ day rate and a monthly rate. For your dates and category there is one clear price, and the Rate Calculator shows the real total before you commit.
Who gets zero deposit
We publish the rule rather than hiding it. The deposit outcome depends on the driver's age and, in one band, on how long the licence has been held. These values come from the same system the booking process uses.
